"In 2000 we left Aspen, CO for Bend, OR. Anton
(then 11) and
brother Jesper (then 10), loaded the moving truck, and we were off to the
Pacific Northwest...
...Shortly after arriving in the Northwest we started Cloud 9
Photos. Our inspiration came from our
love of nature, art, animals and sport and our desire to use our collective
talents to capture those special moments so they can last a lifetime"
Bryan Hilts spent his youth chasing his older brothers around the athletic fields of (upstate) Mohawk, NY. After graduating from Ithaca College (NY), Bryan spent a decade working in New York City and Stockholm, Sweden, before moving back to the states, and settling in Aspen, CO in the eighties. Bryan combines a life-long involvement in elite athletics, with a natural creative side, highlighted during his years as a producer, cinematographer and still photographer for the award winning PBS television series -- "MARTY STOUFFERS WILD AMERICA". Click here to learn more about Bryan's involvement with WILD AMERICA. Mary Louise Johnston, a native of West Virginia, received her undergrad and graduate degrees from The Ohio State University. After studying and working in Columbus, OH, she moved to Aspen, Colorado to become a Professional Ski Instructor. She stills works as a Professional Ski Instructor for The Aspen Skiing Company in Aspen, Colorado and you can also find her teaching Pilates and Yoga at the Athletic Club of Bend and throughout Central Oregon. |
